Identity Resolution
Know who your customers really are. Our identity graph uses both deterministic and probabilistic matching to link records across devices, browsers, email addresses, and offline touchpoints — building a complete picture of every individual.
Probabilistic Matching
Statistical models evaluate dozens of signals — IP address, device fingerprint, behavioral patterns — to link records that likely belong to the same person.
Deterministic Matching
Exact-match on hard identifiers like email, phone number, loyalty ID, or CRM key. When the data matches perfectly, the link is certain.
Cross-Device Stitching
Connect the same person across desktop, mobile, tablet, and smart TV. Understand the full journey even when customers switch devices mid-session.
Configurable Rules
Define your own matching thresholds, priority rules, and merge strategies. Choose which identifiers matter most for your business context.
Privacy-Safe Resolution
Built-in consent management ensures identity resolution respects opt-outs, GDPR right-to-erasure, and regional privacy regulations.
Real-Time Resolution
Identity matching happens at ingestion time, not in overnight batches. New events are linked to the correct profile within milliseconds.
The identity graph
Most businesses have the same customer represented dozens of times across different systems — one record in the CRM, another in the email platform, a cookie-based profile on the website, and a separate loyalty account in-store. Without identity resolution, every team sees a different, incomplete picture.
CustomerIQ's identity graph solves this by evaluating every incoming data point against the existing graph. Deterministic rules handle the easy cases — matching email to email, phone to phone. Probabilistic models tackle the harder ones, evaluating combinations of IP address, device type, behavioral fingerprints, and timing patterns to determine whether two anonymous sessions belong to the same person.
The result is a persistent identity graph that grows more accurate over time. When a previously anonymous visitor logs in, their entire browsing history is retroactively linked to their known profile. When a customer calls support from a new phone number, that number is added to their identity cluster automatically.
